Kathmandu is 1.5 m closer to the space...

Displacements caused by earthquake in Nepal looked by European Space Agency Radar satellite (Sentinel 1).
The figure is the interferogram over Kathmandu area in Nepal,obtained by DINSAR technique (A bit of bibliography...), was generated from two Sentinel-1A scans on 17 and 29 April 2015 – before and after the 25 April earthquake.
